Colin reprises the role of Josh Madden!

Good news! Colin is back! And hopefully soon! Though they never announced that he was completely off the show (All My Children), I kind of figured he was. 1) An article in SID said "Ex-Josh" 2) They completely took his character off of abc.com. But I had never heard that he officially was taken off for good. Apparently he was, because now he is back, and they say he is on recurring status. What a relief. Here's the article...

After only a short time away from ABC’s All My Children, Colin Egglesfield returns to the soap reprising his role as Josh Madden, the unaborted child of the one and only Erica Kane (Susan Lucci).

Colin replaced Scott Kinworthy, who was let go after only a few months with the show. For the next 3 years, Josh became entangled in the canvas of the show. Fans were hesitant to accept Josh (and some still are), but many will be happy to see the character back. After Megan McTavish was replaced with James Harmon Brown and Barbara Esensten, the actor found his airtime reduced and possible couplings (Greenlee and Hannah) were dropped in favor of other pairings and departures.

Any chance of Colin's story decreased yet again after another regime change, this time with current writer Charles Pratt taking over the reins of the show. The actor was demoted to recurring and shortly after was written out when Josh fled town after embezzling money from brother-in-law and best friend Zach Slater (Thorsten Kaye). Soap Opera Source contacted ABC today for further information on the actor's return. According to an ABC rep, it's unknown how long the character of Josh will stick around, but Egglesfield is on recurring status. Read more...

Now all that's left to do is get Colin off of recurring status and in it for GOOD! Be sure to write in to AMC and vote in the SID and SOD polls!

I am currently working on more stuff for the site. I still have tons of images to get done and also tons of clips. I have a lot of upcoming updates coming up and although it's coming slowly it will get done, please be patient, thank you. It's a lot to do.

Site Hits/Visitors

I replaced the old counter with a new one. For some reason the old one reset itself and wouldn't go past 1 hit. The new one is more detailed, showing total page hits (for all pages viewed), total visitors, visitors today and visitors currently online.

The fanlisting also has a new member, Sheri! Thank you for joining! Which now has bumped the fanbase number to 17. If you are a fan please do join!

The fanlisting now has a new layout! Along with the layout I've added new buttons and a button script. If you have not yet joined and are a fan of Colin's please do join and be listed with the rest of his fans. If you don't even know what a fanlisting is, check out the site for info.

Clips and Pics!
I'm slowly getting around to posting some clips/videos. I've posted two clips from Colin's appearance on Extra, America's Most Eligible Bachelor and America's Most Eligible Goes On A Date!. You can find them in the Media section here.

Forum and Fanlisting!

The forum is now up! And it's not just any forum... It's a forum for two sites in one! That's right, Lindsay and I have decided to join together with the forum. While we still will have our two seperate fansites for Colin (CEO and Colin-Egglesfield.com) we figured it would be best to have one big forum for his fans to join. So please do join us at our two in one forum and show Colin our support. If there are any questions regarding the forum you may contact me or Lindsay.

The Fanlisting!
The fanlisting has two new members, Phil and Daphne, putting the member total at 16. If you are a fan please do join and let's get his fanbase numbers where they should be!

CEO is back up! / Lots of updates

Sorry for the looong wait, but I've had a lot going on, personal stuff and internet stuff. But I've finally had the time to finish what I had started like... a year ago... geeez, it's been that long? Daaamn! LOL. As most have probably seen, my Ambyr Childers site (ACW) was also put back up, I had finished hers first because there was less to do, so CEO has a grip of updates, so please bare with me as I go through them with you...

First of all... New layout! Duh... like you haven't noticed, LOL. (Psssst, Gallery has a new layout too )

Ok, so for the main site/layout stuff... in the left column...

CEO Calendar: I've added a cool calendar in which to add events to. Days with events will be highlighted in a different color, if you click on the highlighted day it will zoom in and show the event(s) for that day.

Support Colin: I'm sure every fan of Colin's out there is just as upset as I am that he was placed on recurring status with AMC. It's crucial that we, his fans, do our part in helping him get back in the game in the fictional world of Pine Valley. So be sure to check out the many options I've listed in supporting Colin, AMC and non-AMC related.

Shout!Box: Yups! I've added a shout box to the site. Feel free to chat about anything you like in there, just a few simple rules... NO Colin/Josh bashing... NO bashing/talking smack on each other... NO using it JUST to promote your site, you can link your site to your name and your name only, if peeps wanna check it out they will, don't go over posting in my shout box ranting about your sites, and if your site is pornographic or offensive in any way don't even bother, it will be banned from further posting... With that said, have fun with it!

Monthly Poll: The monthly poll WILL be changed every month, so be sure to cast your votes! At the end of the poll term I will post the results in an update with the preview.

Yahoo!Group: If you haven't already I do suggest joining the Colin Egglesfield Fans Yahoo! Group. Plus it's a great way to show your support of Colin. I love this group and you'll see me at times promoting the hell out of it, lol (such as placing it in my left column *snickers*).

Top Affiliates: There are two new affiliates and both have been placed in the top. One is the newly created Colin fansite by Lindsay, Colin - Egglesfield . com, and I've added my Ambyr Childers site, Ambyr Childers Web.

Site Of The Month: Every month I will randomly list a different site in this box, whether it's an affiliate or a site listed in the directory.

Now on to the rest...

Buttons: No new buttons just yet, but I have added a script to make them more manageable, and you also have the option to donate any (If you donate it will automatically show a credit to you).

Directory: I've changed my link page to a directory. I WILL allow ANY site to be placed in the directory (With a few obvious exceptions of course). If you would like your site listed here email me.

Newsletter: Sign up for our new Newsletter! It's a great way to be quickly updated with the site. Every time I post an update about any updates or Colin news I will send out a Newsletter. But you must join it in order to receive them. After doing so you must also check your email for a confirmation before you're fully accepted, be SURE to do this or you will not receive any newsletters!

Media: NEW! Clips! Since December of 2007 I have been recording and archiving All My Children. I will be clipping them and posting Josh Madden clips up for download. I have a TON to do so please be patient with this. I also will be clipping his movies and any other TV shows he's been in.

For the GALLERY...
Along with the new layout I've also changed some things around here and there, nothing to really post about (rearranged a few things, added albums, etc...). As for images I have TONS and TONS to still do, which will be updated in the next updates, so check back often... oooor sign up for the Newsletter to be informed of the updates . But to start off I have added 286 images to the gallery:

Ann's AMC screencaps: are now fully updated through October 2007. There are 132 new ones. I had stopped collecting her caps after October, and you will see why in a few minutes.

Professional Pics: 4 new ones have been added.

ABC/AMC: New album in "Colin" section and is basicly for ABC photoshoots/images. There are 10 pics added to this album.

Calvin Klein: New album in "Modeling" section. Two pics were moved to here and there are 4 new pics added.

2002 Calendar: I've added the rest of the photos to the album. There are 19 new ones, and all of the 2002 Calendar images are copyright to Arnaldo Anaya Lucca

Unknown "Modeling": I added 1 pic that I had missed.

Magazine/Ads: Again I had added 1 pic that I had missed.

33rd Annual Creative Arts Daytime Emmy Awards: 15 pics have been added to this album and these ones are copyright to Marc Bryan-Brown.




I have also reuploaded my scans of Colin from the ABC magazines with my CEO tag on them. These are exclusive to CEO, but I'm allowing them to be redistributed as long as my tags are remained intact, thank you. I also have more past ones I need to scan and upload.

As for redistribution of other images:
ANYthing may be used for graphics/artwork. But some images can not be redistributed on another site (such as stuff that takes a lot of my time and work). Before taking anything take note on the information on the categories and albums. If they say not to redistribute, please do not. Generally these will be ones that have CEO tags on them, or otherwise also noted. But certain things I won't mind if they are posted elsewhere (with a credit to CEO), just be sure to read before taking, thank you. And if there is anything in question please don't hesitate to email me and ask.

Back to the screencap thing...
I stopped collecting caps from Ann because I WILL be doing my own, seeing how I've been recording All My Children. And this also goes back to the redistribution of images... my caps will be exclusive to CEO. I don't mind however the use of them for graphics/artwork. But I may make exceptions, so it doesn't hurt to ask.

I've added a category for members to upload their own pics of Colin. Please be sure to read the information on all the categories that belong to this section in order to do it the way I'd like, thank you. If there are any questions on how to upload you may email me.
